God does not place the same valuation upon earthly existence that we do. It is a high honor that some men finish their life's work at an early age. True faith is to believe that what has happened has happened for the best.

Dr. Poling served in World War I. His son, Clark, was one of the "Four Chaplain's" to go down on the Dorchester.
